Across stock-market content, proprietary datasets and investing tools I invented or helped build—distributed through media, search and brokerage platforms.

Businesses exist to help people achieve more than they thought they could.
That is the job of a leader. I was fortunate to have people believe in me and push me beyond what I thought I could do. Now I want to be that catalyst for others—and show businesses that helping people exceed their own expectations is one of the best investments they can make in both performance and human potential.
My professional arena is the stock market: building the information, data products and AI interfaces that change what retail investors can know—and what they can do with it.
Retail investors have more information than ever and still lack many of the decision inputs that matter. The problem is no longer just access. It is structure, provenance, timeliness, context, personalization and the interface between the investor and the evidence.

Private advisory relationshipsThe professional mission
We are changing how—and what—stock-market information is consumed.
I want to be in the room where that change is designed.
I specialize in finding the missing intelligence, inventing the product that makes it usable, and engineering the packaging and distribution that turn novelty into adoption.
What I examine
The technical edge of retail-investor intelligence.
My current focus is the layer connecting market data and financial content to AI assistants and brokerage products: ChatGPT apps, Claude connectors and the MCP tools underneath them.
Information architecture
Which facts, events and relationships actually change an investor's decision—and which are merely more content?
Data provenance
Where an answer came from, how fresh it is, what transformations occurred and whether the conclusion can be reproduced.
AI-native interfaces
ChatGPT apps, Claude connectors and MCP tools that let an investor interrogate live market intelligence inside the interface they already use.
Brokerage workflows
Decision support placed inside research, watchlist, alert and trading workflows—not stranded in another destination product.
Trust and evaluation
Testing models for factuality, timeliness, citation quality, calculation integrity and the cost of being confidently wrong.
Packaging and adoption
Turning a technically novel capability into a product investors understand, trust, return to and eventually depend on.
Selected record
A career inside the retail-investor machine.
The live interview that became part of the story.
I hosted Andrew Left on Benzinga's Power Hour as the GameStop confrontation accelerated. The interview became source material for multiple documentaries—and a front-row lesson in how retail communities now create and distribute market-moving information.

My writing and the stock-market content products, datasets and investor tools I created have reached investors through Benzinga, Yahoo Finance, AOL, Google Finance, MSN and the five largest U.S. retail brokerages.

Read the profileThe reason behind the work
Achievement is only useful if it expands what is possible for somebody else.
For nine years, Life Directions has been the second reason this site—and much of my work—exists. As Board Chairman, I help connect young people in Detroit with mentors, professional environments, internships, relationships and the expectation that their lives can be larger than they imagined.
Everything I achieve and learn in fintech becomes leverage: another relationship to open a door, another lesson to transfer, another reason a young person might believe in themselves before the evidence arrives.
MY OPERATING BELIEF“Our job is to believe in people more than they believe in themselves—and put them in position to achieve more than they ever thought possible.”
The human thesis
High expectations. Real opportunity. Grace.
Everyone can change the world.
Not abstractly. Give people a real problem, real responsibility and somebody who refuses to underestimate them.
People can do more than they think.
A leader's job is to create the conditions, conviction and opportunity that make the larger version of a person possible.
Everyone is fighting a battle.
Remembering that—and choosing grace without lowering the standard—makes teams, communities and the world better.
Outside the work
Still testing what is possible.
Learning to fly
I am learning to fly a plane. It is a useful reminder that confidence should follow preparation, not replace it.
Still lifting
I competed in powerlifting in college, tore both pecs as an adult, and still love lifting. Resilience is more useful than an undefeated record.
An open invitation
I love seeing what people are building.
Most of my time is spent building fintech AI, brokerage AI and stock-market products—and I genuinely love this space.
If you are working on something that could help retail investors discover, understand or act on market information, send it my way. When I can be useful, I am happy to look at the product, model, dataset or agent workflow, ask questions and share what I have learned.
I have benefited from people who made time to believe in me, challenge me and open doors. This is one small way I try to do the same.
